The supervisory council of the Austrian sugar, starch and fruit company Agrana put the seal on the fate of the sugar factory in Hohenau. The decision came due to the WTO’s forcing of the end of sugar exports and the EU Sugar Reform, by which the price of sugar will be reduced by one-third.
